Poor Sawyer and the horrbile day she had at the dentist

On Sept. 11th I took little miss Sawyer Marie to the dentist to get her teeth cleaned and a good old fashion check-up. Everything went well. No cavities to report and we walked way from Dr. Curtis's office liking the dentist. Well....maybe one little problem! He told us that we needed to take her to a periodontist in Las Vegas to has tooth # S pulled and to have a spacer put in. All because of a little cavity that was missed when our old dentist put a cap on the tooth. So I called and made an appt for today at 9:40 a.m. Made sure they took our insurance and was told it would be $50 and then $201 later, we now have Sawyer HATING the dentist again. Yes, she HATES the dentist. She told me she would rather have all her teeth fall out then every go back to the dentist. Now I am not sure why she feels this way. She stated that it did not hurt, she was not scared, and she is happy she has braces now. ( She thinks the spacer they applied to keep the tooth behind the space of the pulled tooth from moving is "BRACES")They gave her laughing gas which does not help Sawyer much after the fact. It makes her MEAN!!!!!!!!! She came out of the office crying and yelling what a mean man the doc was and how she hated him. She was really upset that she couldn't feel the right side of her mouth. And to make matters worst she was going to be late for school. So LOVES school and could not wait to go and tell Mrs. Cameron what her horrible mother had put her through and to find some comfort in her loving and tender arms. Good thing she fell a sleep on the way home and sleep it off. By the time we made it into the Valley it was 1:30 p.m. and she was so sleepy she did not want to go to school. Now she is excited to take the tooth to school for Show-N-Tell!!!! O ya, she wants to take the whoopie cushion that she got from the toy chest at the dentist too. Got to love the toys that they give the darn kids to try and make them happy again. I sure hope that gets lost soon.
