Dylan's Special Day!

Yesterday Dylan was ordained a Deacon by his father. Grandpa Gregersen and Great Grandpa Gregersen were here with us for this very special day.


We went to the church at 8:00 a.m. and Bishop Barlow meet us and we went in to a small room and Mike gave Dylan his blessing. Bishop Barlow allowed us to have this done before church so Dylan could pass the sacrament yesterday and one more time before he goes back to Montrose. He looked so nice. He was so excited. Mike gave Dylan a very beautiful and special blessing. I am so grateful to be part of a family were the church is the foundation. it can bring such happiness with such simple guide lines with we just live them and follow them. We are so lucky to have both come from strong families that hold the church so dear. It was very neat to listen to Mike's Grandpa talk about how important the church is to him. And Mike's Dad told us what the church means to him. Our children have such great examples from the Gregersen family and the Butterfield family. We are very blessed. Dylan is also a great example to his little brothers. He is the one that has to show them when they are away how important the church is and I know it is to him. He is such an amazing young man. We are so proud to be his family and to have been given this gift to share this special day with him. There were so many family members that could not be here with us, but we could fell their love with us. Thank you to everyone.

Boys, Boys, and more Boys!!!!

For Dylan's birthday we let him have a friend or two stay the night. By the time it got dark we had a house full.......it was all good. He has great friends and we love all the boys. They set up a tent in the back yard and stayed out there. In the morning Mike went to wake them up for breakfast and the tent was down and they were sleeping on the patio. Still not sure what happen.

Girls will be girls

On Sat. Austin and Blake went to a Carson H. birthday party. So we had Hailee over for some girl fun. Sawyer and Hailee got their toe and finger nails done. They loved it!!! They laughed and giggled about how they were so happy they weren't stinky boys!

When Austin & Blake got home they looked so cute. They had little Army hats and had their faces painted to match. Austin washed his off before I could get any pictures.

Thanks Geriylnn and Carson. The boys had so much fun at your party. Hailee thanks for coming over and hanging out with Sawyer.

Happy Birthday Dylan! July 25th

Today is Dylan's 12th birthday. One more to go and we are going to have a teenager. We are just grateful we get to start with a boy first. Dylan is such a great kid. We are so proud to be his Dad and Step mom. Austin, Blake, and Sawyer look up to him and love him so much. Even though he likes to tease them and scare them....they still love him as you will see from the Top 12 reasons we love Dylan:

7. Austin loves Dylan because he helps him catch snakes

Swimming with AWESOME friends

We have started to have game night once a month with the different couples in our ward. It usally is the 1st Saturday of every month. This month because of the 4th of July we moved it to the 2nd Saturday. We decided to make it a family affair. Sherrie and Jamie Jackson offered to let us all come over to their home and go swimming and BBQ. Thanks for letting us all come over Sherrie and Jamie. Mike and Jamie had a great time playing with the kids in the pool. It sure is nice to have a husband that likes to spend time with the kids playing. That is one great thing about Mike. He loves to hear the giggles that come from them when they are having fun. It was a grest time for everyone. We had a very nice dinner and great time swimming and talking. One of the things I love the most about living here is our friends. They make this a great place to raise our children and they have become family to us. I hope all of our friends know just how much they mean to us and how grateful we are to have you in our lives.

Getting ready for school July 12, 2008

On Saturday we got up early and headed to St. George to go school clothes shopping. The kids were so excited. I thought this was going to take all day but we were home by 2:00 p.m. We first went to Old Navy...my favorite! They had a great 50% off sale and we got most of the stuff there. We just went to walmart to get the socks and underclothes. They all got new shoes. We are letting the little ones wear them in the house so they can practice tieing their own shoes. They are so funny. They would sleep in them if we let them. I can't believe that Austin, Blake, and Sawyer are going to start kindergarten. Sawyer has Mrs. Cameron and she is so excited. We do not know to much about where the twins are going to school but look forward to daily updates on how kindergarten is going. Dylan is going to start 7th grade. They all are going up way to fast for us. I am so excited but I am sure after I drop Sawyer off to school on the first day I am going to come home and cry. This is my one and only first day of kindergarten. Mike and I just want the kids to know how much we love them and how proud we are of them.

On Thursday night Dylan wanted to have some friends over and sleep outside in the tent so we told him that was fine. He had Jermey and Zach Waite over. Mike and I went to bed about 10:00 p.m. At 11:00 p.m. Dylan calls the house phone from his cell phone in the back yard to tell Mike there is someone in the back yard. Mike gets up and looks.....no one there. The 3 boys are scared and want to come in and sleep. Well in the morning the three little ones wake up and decide they want to sleep outside in the tent without mom and dad. Mike and I laughed and thought we would let them try it. We both thought we would have all three coming in with in 1 hour. NOT!!! Austin, Blake, and Sawyer Marie sleep outside in the tent all night. They never got up once. We put the tent by our bedroom window so we could hear them if they got scared. I didn't sleep very well because I am a worry wart and was afraid one of them might get scared. They had a blast and want to do it again....not to mention Dylan got teased a little that three 5 year olds could make it all night in the tent and he couldn't.

Bowling with the Barraza family

July 5th 2008

Today we went bowling with e Barraza family. We went to a place in Mesquite. We had a great time. Mike won both games. Yes....he can still bowl!!! The kids used the bumpers on the lanes and every laughed and bowled their best. Sawyer and Blake both had a spare and Austin got a strike. Thanks for asking us to go Jill and Tomingo(really Domingo, but the kids call him Tomingo).

4th of July

Living in Logandale does have its advantages....Like on the 4th of July having a free pancake breakfast, water games & water fights with the fire dept, hotdog eating contest, pie eating contest, free BBQ dinner, awesome fireworks, & and amazing friends. We had the best 4th ever. While we were waiting for the fireworks the kids and our friend Mike B. were playing Frisbee. The got it stuck in a tree. When they were trying to get it out they knock a baby bird out of its nest. So everyone helped find the nest and we got the bird save and sound back to its home and mommy. The mother bird was making all kinds of noise until she had her baby back. The kids had a blast and everyone enjoyed the day. We spent time with our friends and got to spend the day as a family. I love having everyone together. I just need to figure out how to keep the kids from going back to Co. Are kids are the best and we love them so much.

Skate Park

Last Wednesday our neighbors, the Brock family asked us to go to the skate park with them. It had been very hot all day and it was cooling down enough the kids wanted to go outside(7:30 p.m.)and play. We took the bikes and the skate boards and let the kids play for about 2 hours. They all had fun and burned off some energy. The hotter it gets the harder it is to do things to use up all the 5 year old energy stored in Austin, Blake, & Sawyer. Thank goodness Dylan can find ways to keep himself busy. We have the greatest kids! We also are very lucky to have the great friends we have here in Logandale.
