Our next door neighbors The Brock's have two little pet snakes. Now for those of you who know me at all know I have a great fear of snakes. I HATE the little things. Well my daughter doesn't have this fear....either does Austin.....but Blake is my man he doesn't care to much for them. Austin and Sawyer love to hold these little things. YUCK! Blake tried but it freaked him out a little bit. Here's some pictures of Sawyer holding the snake. Can you believe how calm she looks. She was not scared at all. When Linette emails me the ones of Austin and Blake I will put them on here.

The night the lights went out in Logandale....

Last night we had a major rain strom come through our little valley. Now for most of you who live anywhere else in the world would laugh at what I have some to consider a major rain storm. Since I moved here last Oct. I had yet to see it rain.....Maybe a few drops here or there, but no real down pour. Last night was the first rain storm!!! I loved it. It smelled so good. It filled our little neighborhood with puddles and the kids loved it. Our good friends the Brocks were outside when we got home and the kids all played in the puddles. They had a blast. It was really dark outside so some of the pictures aren't the best. After we went inside the power went out for a while. THE KIDS FREAKED OUT!!!! They all wanted to move to a new house with power.

Gregersen Hockey Team

So here you have it....The Gregersen Hockey Team! For those of you that do not know it we love hockey at our house. This last weekend we bought the 3 little ones hockey sticks so that they can play now. It was lots of fun watching them play with Mike. Who knows we just might have a hockey star or two in our family.

Partriarchal Blessing

Last night I received my Patriarchal Blessing. It was a very special and humbling experience. It was so nest that it was just Mike and I that went. My good friend Stephanie keep the kids for us. Thanks Stephanie. Patriarch Wittwer did my blessing for me. It was so much funny to sit and talk to him for a while before the blessing. He told us about his love for gardening and all the places he has been in this beautiful world. In may he lost his sweet wife after 70 years of marriage. He is just so sweet. The spirit in his house was so strong. During my blessing I felt a peace that I have never felt before. I can't believe it has taken me 34 years to get my blessing. O well....at least I have it now. I want everyone to know how much I love my husband Mike. He is the greatest! He gives me the strongest and most loving support anyone could ever ask for. I am so lucky to have him as my husband. I can't wait until the day we go to the temple and we are sealed. There is no one else that I want to spend forever with. I love you Mike. Thank you for sharing in this special moment of my life.

Trip to Vegas for last minute school stuff....and so much more.

Saturday (Aug. 2nd) we headed into Vegas to finish are school shopping. We got back packs for all the kids and all the good stuff one needs to start school. I can't believe that we have 3 little ones starting kindergarten this year. It breaks my heart that the twins will be in Montrose and we will not get to see them on their first day of school. And Dylan is start 8th grade. We would love to be able to see his first day as well. But that is life I guess. After we got all the school stuff I went and got my hair cut while Mike and the kids went and got the mountaineer washed and detailed at some car wash place. Then we went to lunch at Taco Bell. The kids love that place. After that we ended up buying the kids all hockey sticks so they could play with Dylan. I think Mike might be trying to get his own hockey team started. On the way home we were all blessed with some quite time after Sawyer Marie fell a sleep for a while. We love her so much, but it is nice when the ears can get a break. I can not believe that the summer is almost over. Next Sat. we take the boys back to their mother. Can anyone tell me what to do about this big hole that is going to be in my heart until we get them again???? I love those boys so much. I am so blessed to have found Mike and been given a wonderful family like I have. I love him and the boys and Sawyer bug all so much. I am very blessed. We are all very blessed to be a family and to have each other. I am so grateful for my family.

Motley Crue, Pap Roach, and Buck Cherry Concert!

On Friday Night ( Aug. 1st 2008) Mike and Dylan went to Vegas to a concert. It was for Dylan's birthday. He wanted to see Papa Roach and Buck Cherry. They headlined for Motley Crue. Dylan loved the first two acts but wasn't into MC to much. To old for him. LOL !!!!! Thanks ok, they had to leave early because MC wasn't the most kid friendly act. So Mike and Dylan got out of there and went to In and Out for a burger then headed home. Dylan got him a Papa Roach T-shirt. I guess I am getting old....I was all to happy to stay home with the little ones instead of going to a concert where the music was going to be loud and crazy. Happy Birthday Dylan. Hope it was all you dreamed it would be and more.
