The weekend of Oct. 11th Mike, Sawyer, and I headed to Elko to spend time with Mike's parents for the weekend. There was a hunt for some kind of bird this weekend. Mike had a great time with his Dad and Sawyer and I had lots of fun spending time with Kris. We went shopping, to the movie and ran a bunch of errands. Mike and I are very blessed to have the parents we do. I love my in-laws. We had a great time and look forward to going back soon. Here's the few pictures that were taken on our trip. We are getting a new camera soon so I will not have to worry about the battery always dieing on me. One day soon I will tell the story about Grandpa Dave and this out house in the picture. We love you Ma and Pa Gregersen. Thanks for a great weekend.

4x4 crash

So as you read this please do not think I am a bad Mother, but I still can't stop laughing about this little accident Sawyer had yesterday while she was playing with her friend Carlie. For those of you who know Sawyer well, you will totally understand how this happen and why it is funny since she is OK.

I love her hair. She let Amy braid it all cute.

Sawyer went to Carlie's house to play yesterday before school and had a great time. When it was time to go to get on the bus the girls got on the 4x4 ( with Carlie's mother behind them on another 4x4) and headed to the bus stop. Well Sawyer wanted to drive and talked Carlie into letting her do so. Amy ( Carlie's mother) is trying to yell over the 4x4 to not let Sawyer drive as she guns the gas and drives them into the fence. Both girls had a few scratches but are OK and went to school. Sawyer was afraid that I was going to freak out. We are just glad both girls are OK and hope that Sawyer has learned her lesson that it is VERY important to wait for instructions on how to do things. We are so happy that Sawyer and Carlie are good friends and that they like to play with each other. This will be a funny story we can tell for years to come. That is unless Amy will not talk to us anymore since my husband had to call and TEASE her last night. YES, I know we are all shocked that Mike was giving someone a hard time. So here is another picture of the Gregersen Crash Test Dummy and her cute little head wound. We love you Sawyer and thank you for always keeping us on our toes and giving us a good scare and many laughs.

All smiles as she shows off her new look.

Ashton Charles Saunders

On Sat. morning Sawyer and I left Logandale at 3:45 a.m. to head to N. Utah to see the newest memeber of the Saunders' family. My friend Angie's son Todd came along on the ride with us. We dropped him off in Spanish fork so he could spend sometime with his cousins. It sure was nice to have someone to entertain Sawyer on the ride. Thanks Todd!!

So here is Ashton Charles Saunders

He is the sweetest little guy. He can sleep through any kind of nosie. I guess with two older brothers this is a must for such a tiny little boy. His big brothers sure do love him. I do not have any of Mitchell because he did not want his picture taken.
Here's a few of Sawyer with Connor and Ashton.

It was a quick trip but worth it. He is so cute and we are so happy for Kathy and Andrew. They know what they are doing when it comes to boys. We love you all and will see you the end of the month for the blessing.

Why women cry......

So I am a crier. I can cry at the top of a hat. It makes my husband very nervous and unsettled when I do this. While I was working on my enrichment night project I found this poem and thought it might help Mike understand why I cry. LOL!!! But I also think that it is so true. Hope this helps honey......

A Woman's Tear

A little boy asked his mother, 'Why are you crying?' 'Because I'm a woman,' she told him. 'I don't understand,' he said. His Mom just
hugged him and said, 'And you never will.' Later the little boy asked his father,
'Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?' 'All women cry for no reason,'
was all his dad could say. The little boy grew up and became a man,
still wondering why women cry. Finally he put in a call to God.
When God got on the phone, he asked,
'God, why do women cry so easily?' God said: 'When I made the woman she had to be special.' 'I made her shoulders strong enough
to carry the weight of the world, yet gentle enough to give comfort.' 'I gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that many times
comes from her children.' 'I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going when everyone else gives up, and take care of her family through sickness
and fatigue without complaining.' 'I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all circumstances,
even when her child has hurt her very badly.' ''I gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults and fashioned her
from his rib to protect his heart. 'I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve
to stand beside him unfalteringly.' 'And finally, I gave her a tear to shed.'
'This is hers exclusively to use
whenever it is needed.' 'That tear holds more then men could understand.'
' If a man was to shed her tear it
would look enormous.'
'For a woman's tear is full of unconditional love, power, sacrifice, beauty, pain, and compassion.'
'All ten fold of what a Man is able to feel.'
'And that is my son, why I made
her as close to being Supernatural.' 'She's my gift to the world she's an Angel on Earth.' 'Love her and praise her for there will be no other here on Earth that will Love you
like I do then your Mother.''You see my son,' said God, 'The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair.' The beauty of a woman must be seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart - the place where love resides

It's a Boy!!!!

My sister Kathy and her husband Andrew are the proud parents of their 3rd sons. He was born this morning weighing in at 7 lbs 7 oz and 20 1/2 inches. Kathy and little Ashton are doing great. As of now his name is Ashton unless they spend time with him and decide on another name. Congrats Kathy and Andrew. We love you and are so happy and excited for you're family. We can't wait to meet the little guy.
